Christmas Wreath Greeting Card
£3.00
Christmas wreaths have surprisingly complex histories dating back as far as the 16th Century, and this Christmas wreath greeting card celebrates that tradition with a Manchester twist. The German Christians who first began bringing evergreens into their homes during the winter festivities chose to trim them into a triangle, to represent the Trinity. Excess limbs were reused (like everything else), and one of those uses was to form a wreath to be hung on the front door.
Wreath decorations can range from busy to outright garish, but we’ve kept this Christmas wreath design simple and buzzy – with a few signature Mancunian bees taking care of the foliage. If you prefer your wreaths more colourful and bountiful, take a look at our alternative wreath card design here.
