Christmas trees have surprisingly complex histories dating back as far as the 16th Century, and Christmas wreath cards are very much entwined with it. The German Christians who first began bringing evergreens into their homes during the winter festivities chose to trim them into a triangle, to represent the Trinity. Excess limbs were reused (like everything else), and one of those uses was to form a wreath to be hung on the front door.
This Christmas wreath card design is a wildflower wonder, with a dense array of leaves, pinecones and snowflakes in a distinctive colourway which incorporates soft purples, apricots browns and pinks – with a signature Manchester bee in the mix too.
