The fantastical adventures of Danger Mouse, Penfold and Friends engaged with the nonsensical world of children’s imaginations. This Danger Mouse tile celebrates the cult cartoon that was the creation of Brian Cosgrove and Mark Hall. Their company at its peak employed over 250 people. Their success in the 1980’s played a key role in establishing the creative industries in Manchester.
Each D Tile is designed in Manchester, hand-rolled and glazed in the UK’s ceramic heartland of Stoke-on-Trent, before returning north for local firing. The result is a finely crafted ceramic tile that feels both rooted and modern — a distinctive decorative piece celebrating Manchester’s identity.
